Mobile LPI is a mobile collection for the parking industry and is being used at universities, hospitals, airports, private businesses, and secure facilities nationwide to automate the manual process of vehicle inventory collection. The Mobile LPI system allows parking attendants (or law enforcement) to drive through a parking area, while P362 cameras mounted (using a PIPS Fixed or Portable Mount) on the vehicle collect data. The data may then be fed to a processor and Mobile LPI user interface on board the vehicle. The processor may be an existing MDT, a stand-alone touch screen connected to a PIPS SupeRex, or a Motorola ML900 with the PIPS Lapdock.
Mobile LPI is then able to compare data from an earlier time period to determine vehicles in inventory, vehicles that have exited, duration of stay, vehicle location and more. Alerts may be set up within the program to send notifications to an administrator or user regarding vehicles with extremely long parking durations, frequent visitors, unauthorized vehicles and more.
