P382
Like the Spike+, the P382 is a compact, rugged, fully integrated license plate recognition camera incorporating the camera, illuminator and the ALPR processor within a single sealed enclosure. What differentiates the P382 from other cameras on the market is that it provides high resolution coverage of a full lane of traffic (up to 13') and can accommodate two concurrent vehicles in the field of view, ideal for tolling and violation enforcement applications.
As one would expect from PIPS, the P382 encompasses many unique features and advanced technologies. Dual-lens design for both color and infrared, compact housing sealed to IP68 standards for extreme operating environments, versatile real time self-triggering or support of an external trigger, fully web-enabled and IP-addressable, and much, much more.
The P382 also incorporates PIPS’ leading library of OCR engines, as well as other patented technologies such as TripleFlash and Platefinder. The P382 will change the face of automated license plate recognition in the tolling and violation enforcement community.
