Automated Access Control and Physical Security
The assurance of adequate security has reached an all time high. Whether in the government or private sector, numerous opportunities exist for improved physical security through the implementation of PIPS ALPR. PIPS products are able to accomplish this by automating the Access Control process by capturing vehicle license plate data and immediately verifying it against known lists to ensure the vehicle in question is authorized and not suspect or wanted. This qualification of vehicles allows for the automated control of barriers or gates into the site.
AutoPlate Secure is a PIPS software interface that provides for this functionality when coupled with a PIPS ALPR Camera and Processor. The PIPS Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) incorporates a more expansive network of cameras and processors to monitor vehicle movement through various checkpoints on the site, allow or restrict access to certain areas, assign time limits to specific users/areas, and alert on violations.
